AFC Aldermaston
AFC Aldermaston won their first Hellenic League Division One East. game of the season on Tuesday night as they beat visiting Abingdon Town 2-1.
The visitors took the lead in the contest thanks to a penalty, but a solo strike from Jahson Downes levelled things.
Ryan Adams won the game from the spot after he won the penalty.
Last Saturday, in the Challenge Cup, the Atomics lost 4-2 on penalties at Hazelmere, after it finished 2-2.
This Saturday, Aldermaston are away at Abingdon United in the league.
