SEVENTEEN Camrose AC members fished their latest fixture at Cheriton Farm where Tony Holdsworth put pole, caster and groundbait to good use and won the match with 139lb 6oz of carp.

Darren (Dodgy) Brown used pole and corn for his 113lb 12oz, Bryan Swindle utilised pole and pellet for his 100lb 12oz, whilst Colin Thomas weighed in 89lb 12oz. All that fished caught.

Kennet Osprey were at Greenridge Farm on Sunday last, where Doug Wright topped out with 122lb 5oz of carp on pole and paste, the same tactic was employed by Nigel Cornwell for his 104lb 1oz, Henry Smith caught 100lb 12oz also on paste whilst Steve (I don’t moan) Shepherd weighed in 80lb 3oz on pole and pellet.

Seventeen fished and caught.

Basingstoke Railway Piscatorials were at Dandys Ford for their latest fixture and it was Trevor Matthews who did the business netting 108lb 8oz of carp on pole and maggot, Staceys Supremo Keith Brown captured 96lb 3oz again on pole and maggot, Rob Carr (Superstar) caught 76lb 4oz with Dave Keeping on 57lb 14oz.

Thirteen fished and weighed.

Adventure AS went to Panshill Fishery for their match and Robin Guppy won it with 195lb 8oz of F1 carp on pole and pellet, match secretary Nick Sargent caught 168lb 6oz of carp on pole and pellet, followed by Dave Stratford-Way with 159lb and Kevin Holmes with 138lb 12oz. Twelve fished a high weight fixture and all caught.

The Danny Williams Memorial Match took place at Cheriton Farm on Saturday last with invited anglers and family taking part. Bobby Wiilliams acted as organiser, participant, referee and barbecue chef. The event was fished in a light hearted vein, with Chris Hopgood the winner on 127lb 14oz of carp using pole and maggot, Darren Brown caught 122lb 15oz on pole and corn, John Timney weighed in 117lb 14oz with Colin Thomas on 114lb 4oz, £150 was raised for HIFTIO UK.
