OAKLEY’S Ollie Rabley lost a tooth and this side reduced to 10 men went down by one run at Odiham and Greywell II in the Hampshire League Regional Division One North East.

Odiham batting first scored 221-5 as the visitors lost Rabley hit in the mouth going for a catch.

Oakley’s reply saw Michael Wood and Paddy Saines both hit half centuries and Wood hit the final ball for four, when a six would have won them the game.

Despite an opening stand of 103 by skipper Paul Buckingham (55) and Jon Wheeler (32) and some late order fireworks by Adam Cordery with a hard hitting 29.

Rotherwick ITW’s total of 174-5 was not enough as St Mary Bourne reaching 176-7 with just seven balls left.

There were two wickets each for John Holder, Phil Mitchell and Ali Brown.
