HOOK and Newnham Basics B became the second team to make the last four of the Finch Group Cyril Thompson Trophy after they beat Andover by 29 runs.
Hook will face Kingsclere or Rotherwick in the their semi-final, while Oakley will play the winners of Basingstoke Hockey or Ramsdell. The final will be Sunday, August 25 starting at 11am.
The other two quarter-finals take place at May’s Bounty this evening (July 18) Kingsclere take on Rotherwick ITW and on Monday (July 22) will see Basingstoke Hockey face Ramsdell.
Results: Hook B 107 (L Simpson 25, H Orange 3-26, K Watta 4-24) Andover 78 (O Dykes 28, B Goodman 3-16, W Wyatt 2-10, H Franklyn 2-5).
