ADVENTURE AS fished their latest fixture at Court Farm Lake, where Graham Shadwell scored with 165lb of carp on the pole and paste, match secretary Nick Sargent took second spot with 93lb 8oz of carp using pole and meat, Dave Stratford-Way needed 78lb 12oz for third just edging out Kevin Holmes on 75lb 8oz. Nineteen fished a solid venue and all caught.

Kennet Ospreys trip to Bowsaw Lake saw in form Nigel Cornwell put the method feeder to good use and win a high scoring match with 172lb 12oz of carp, Bartosz Recki carried on collecting pools money with 158lb of carp on pole and paste, Steve (I don’t moan) Shepherd not only ran the event but made third spot on pole and meat for 125lb, Andy Leith used the method feeder for his 116lb. Sixteen fished and caught.

Camrose AC fished their latest match at Willow Pool in Bramley, where Jason (The Paste) Marcham did the business with 68lb of bream and carp on the method feeder, Bryan Swindle also employed feeder tactics for his carp bag of 48lb, Tony Holdsworth was again on the feeder and caught 41lb 8oz of mixed, whilst acrobatic Les Partridge caught bigger carp for his 35lb 2oz. Fourteen fished and caught.

Basingstoke Railway Club fished their latest match on Saturday last at Cheriton Farm, where Staceys Supremo Keith Brown scored over a depleted field, weighing in 162lb 6oz of carp on pole and maggot, John Hooley drew well and fished well to net 108lb 6oz of carp on pole and maggot, Trevor Matthews caught 89lb 11oz on pole and maggot with Les Partridge on77lb 4oz. Ten fished all caught.

This coming Sunday Osprey are at Willow Park Small Lake, Adventure are at Greenridge Farm, Oxoid wil be at Witherington Farm, Camrose go to Old Barlows Lake, and I’m having an early night having fished five matches in six days.
