EXACTLY two years to the day Oakley's 27 game unbeaten run was ended in the Hampshire League County Division Three North top of the table clash with IBM Hursley.

The home side batted first and made 167-8 with Dan Sumner top scoring with 50.

In reply the visitors scored 172-5 to win by five wickets and take over at the summit, but only by two points.

Hook and Newnham Basics thirds continued their climb up the table to fifth, with an excellent five wicket win over third placed RAM, who they bowled out for 117.

Paul Burrows hit an unbeaten 113 in Ramsdell's 217-6 as they won at Liss by 38 runs.

The home side were bowled out for 179, as Luca Wade took 4-11.

Elsewhere, Hartley's seconds lost by 78 runs against Amport as they were all out for 221, while Overton (238-8) won at Liphook (139).
