The Tony Skeats Memorial Match to be fished on Saturday, July 27 will now include some of his fishing friends and acquaintances who sadly left us in the last year, namely Terry Burt, Mick Brown and Alfie Noon.

If you knew these characters, and characters they were and want to fish this light hearted affair contact me on 07916 331424.

There will be a barbecue after the match at 3.15pm where you can recall fond memories of Tony’s Sainsburys satire, Terry’s wicked sense of humour, Mick’s drinking exploits and Alfie’s endless moaning.

Family and friends are welcome.

Catch me next week.
