Steven Jones was the winner of the Joe French Cup as Basingstoke Individual Chess Champion.

In the final between the towns two strongest players he edged out Liam Blanc.

The Basingstoke Junior Champion was Jay Negargar who held off a challenge from Edison Brown.

The Frank Franklin Shield was presented to the winner by club treasurer Peter Beldaus.

Philip Ware was the winner of the Henshaw Shield for players graded under 120 ECF beating Shwetal Bhatt in the final.

Basing retained the Alekhine Trophy for a second year with Kempshott second.

The Borders League Division Seven team of Shwetal Bhatt, Peter Bhatt, Adam Matthews and Philip Ware received trophies after a very successful season as table toppers with Farnham D.

Steven Jones claimed a double by winning the evening blitz competition after a close game with Mo Negargar in the final.
