BASINGSTOKE Bluefins Masters swimmers returned from the British Masters Long Course Championships in Swansea with British titles.

The Bluefins were represented by Neil Mitchell, Olly Espinasse, Emily Budynski-Seymour, Keone Crockwell, Sammy Girle, Spencer Turner and Fleur Turner.

Olly Espinasse set the weekend off well winning the 100m free, following that up then with gold in the 50m fly and silver in the 50s back and 50 m free.

Joining him shortly after was Spencer Turner with gold in the 100m free, followed by silver in the 50m free.

Emily Budzynski-Seymour had a brilliant meet, setting numerous personal bests, winning her first British title in the 200m breaststroke and took a silver in the100m breaststroke.

Sammy Girle had a great meet, winning gold in the 200m free, silver in the 200m back and bronze in the 400m IM.

Fleur Turner picked up gold in the 50m free, bronze in the 200m free with a personal best.

She then joined forces with Crockwell, Budynski-Seymour and Girle to win gold in the 4x50 freestyle relay, and silvers in both the 4x50 medley and 4x100m freestyle relays.

Fleur Turner and Girle also swam in the Mixed relays with Spencer Turner and Olly Espinasse, winning silvers in both 4x50m free and 4x50 medley relays.

Mitchell swam great races and his fastest times in two years, also racked up nearly 10,000 training meters over the weekend in the warm up pool!

Next for the Bluefins Masters is the Hampshire County Championships.
