THE Basingstoke Bison have added two more forwards to their line-up for the coming campaign with the re-signing of import Michal Klejna, while Ryan Sutton returns after a season in Bracknell.

Slovak sniper Klejna led the team in scoring last term with 72 points scoring 25 times as he became a firm fans’ favourite in what was his first year in Britain.

The 31-year-old had played in France for five years before joining the Herd.

Basingstoke-born British forward Sutton last term scored just five times for the Bees in a points total of nine, having the previous year helped himself to 23 points in the Bison’s treble winning campaign.

The 24-year-old came through the Basingstoke junior system and played a year in Canada, before suiting up for a second campaign with the Herd in 2017/18.

Bison player/coach Ashley Tait is delighted with both of his signings and said: "Once Michal settled in last season, he proved what he could do. In this league your imports have contribute and he did and is good player at both ends of the ice.

"Ryan is excited to be back with the Bison and believes he has a point to rove and I look forward to him doing this for us."
