IN THE Basingstoke and District Sunday League Division 1 title race, Republic of Chineham achieved the league double over close rivals Tadley Tigers, scoring 11 without reply.

Their goals came from D'Andre Brown and Finley Hall with hat-tricks, while Rowan Vine went one better with four goals to his name.

Neither Republic of Chineham or Bramley United can afford to drop a point in a close finish for the championship.

The first when Coventry played Aimable through to lift over the keeper and the second a brilliant cross from Coventry found Aimable at the back post to slot in to the roof of the net on the volley for his 22nd of the season.

A massively controversial equaliser midway through the second half angered the visitors when the ref overruled an offside call from the referee's assistant.

Lacking replacements Saints tired in the second half and New Park Rangers' aerial balls undone them, final score 1-6, with Rangers' goals from Nathan Barlow, Joe Hodge, Tom Starbucks, and substitute Kane Wilson with a brace in a league double.

Camrose Social pegged back AFC Laarsens' title bid with a 3-2 win, with Matthew Foreman, Ryan Lupton and Gareth Slade scoring Camrose's winner.

Shallow End narrowly lost 1-0 Overton United as the away side chalked up a league double.

On Tuesday in Division One, Eastrop Eagles were whitewashed 6-0 by Republic of Chineham, with Luke Richardson netting four, Sam Nicholls and Roman Vine one each.

Ryan Thorpe scored after 10 minutes for North Warnborough against Soldiers Return, but the visitors turned the tables and were 2-1 up by half-time.

Although Soldiers scored another three goals in the second half to win 5-1, Boro spurned enough chances to close the gap.

Sushant Magar with a brace and Sammy Shahir scored as Chineham Cavaliers won 3-1 against Kempshott, Ed Quick with the consolation strike.

On Thursday there were four Division Two games, including AFC Laarsens and Chineham Reserves sharing the points in a 1-1 draw, with Dan Bloma netting for the hosts.

Basingstoke Saints took an early lead through Luke Charlton in an even game and were comfortable until a penalty 1-1 brought Chineham Cavaliers level at the interval.

Twenty minutes into the second half, a breakaway by Cavaliers was rewarded with a 2-1 lead.

Saints pressed forward to get into the game and were hit with another break 3-1.

Saints missed chances before Chineham got a fourth, winning 4-1, with goals from Trent Barrington, Sushant Magar brace, Sammy Shahir brace, a league double

New Park Rangers notched up a league double in a 9-0 win over South Ham Saints, with Dylan Bardell brace, Andrew Harrison and Joe Hodge hat-tricks, and Simon Harrison single.

Overton United beat AFC Basing 3-1 with Joe Cook getting Basing's consolation strike.
