LODDON Vale men needed good wins from their final three Bramley league games to finish near the top. It started well with a good win against Five Rivers 77-52. Unfortunately the second game against East Dorset did not get the desired result with a final score of 64-83. Hopes are now resting on getting a good result in the final game against Riverside on 23 March.
In the Wessex league the men had good win against East Dorset 82-79 but failed to qualify for the knockout stages.
In the Riversmeet, Loddon Vale ladies suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of a strong team from Palmerston with only one winning rink skipped by June Harvie. Other skips were Stella Hayden, Sheila Stone and Alice Lovett.
