GEORGE Hallahan took his tally for Tadley Calleva to five goals in two games helping them to two great home wins.

The striker grabbed a hat-trick in their 4-1 success over Lymington on Saturday and then netted a brace in Tuesday night's 3-2 success over third placed Bournemouth Poppies.

Against visiting Bournemouth, Hallahan opened his account from the penalty spot after Danny Vickers had been fouled.

Then three minutes Aaron Parfitt's long range effort could only be parried and Brad Neal followed up to put away the rebound.

Bournemouth, unbeaten in seven games coming into the contest, pulled a goal back, but by half-time Hallahan had struck again as he converted Connor Thorne's cross.

Bournemouth completed the scoreline with a late penalty.

On Saturday, Hallahan took just six second half minutes to score his hat-trick, helped by assists from Chad Abrams, Thorne and Brett Denham.

Lymington pulled a goal back in the 84th minute, but a wonder strike from 40-yards out by Parfitt a minute later to seal it.

Tadley's double success has moved them up to ninth in the Wessex League Premier Division and they now only two points off fifth spot occupied by Hamworthy United.

They travel there on Tuesday night, but before that they face a trip to Christchurch on Saturday.
