THE Basingstoke Buffalo found the South Two leaders the Slough Jets too hot to handle as they lost 9-2 last Saturday.
The Jets never looked back after scoring twice in the opening minute.
The Buffs opened their account at 28:01 as Jack Peacock scored.
He then turned provider for the home side's second goal which was scored by captain Neil Leary.
This Saturday (6.15pm) the Buffalo are at home again when the Chelmsford Chieftains are the visitors.
