CAMROSE AC were at Soke Road Lake on Sunday last where Paul (The Enforcer) Follington scored with 44lb of carp on pole and corn. Match Secretary Pip Seeny used pole, maggot and bread for his 30lb of carp, John Ambrose caught 23lb of carp on pole and bread and Brian Orchard made up the frame with 21lb 12oz on pole and pellet. Fourteen fished and caught.

Adventure AS fished at Panshill Fishery near Oxford last Sunday and in a tight finish Mike Allen nicked it with 51lb of carp on pole and maggot, six ounces behind was Scott (Meatloaf) Nelson’s carp bag caught on pole and maggot, ten ounces away in third spot was Gary Knight again carp on pole and mag, whilst Gary Hermon weighed in 49lb in what was a proper match. Twelve fished and caught.

Kennet Ospreys trip to Billhook proved unproductive with Simon (the God) Kiefer needing just 12lb 8oz of carp to win, caught on pole and allsorts, Steve Shepherd used pole, maggot and pellet for his 11lb 2oz of carp, Andy Leith weighed in 10lb 9oz. Ten fished and caught.

Oxoid AC went to Whitehouse Lake where Del Baulsom won with 20lb 4oz of bream and carp on the maggot feeder, George Coomber had bream and carp for his feeder caught 14lb 3oz, Peter Lovegrove’s one bream weighed 7lb. Eight fished three did not catch.

The memorial match for Tony Skeats, Terry Burt, Mick Brown and Alfie Noon will be held on Saturday 27th July at New Barlows Lake Tadley, there will be a barbecue after the match starting at about 3pm, what was originally the Tony Skeats memorial match is to include his circle of friends who sadly all left us last year.
