HARTLEY Wintney found title chasing Met Police too hot to handle at Imber Court as they went down 5-1.
It started so well for the Row as they took the lead after 20 minutes as Marley Ridge followed in a saved penalty to score.
However, two minutes later the home side were level as Jack Mazzone scored.
It remained 1-1 at the break, but four minutes into the second-half the home side took the lead as Max Blackmore headed home.
On 53 minutes, it became 3-1 as Oliver Robinson scored and then Blackmore netted his second of the contest just after the hour mark.
Teenager Ross Murdoch completed the 5-1 scoreline six minutes from time with a lovely curling effort.
This Tuesday, Hartley are in home action against Blackfield and Langley in a Southern League Cup quarter-final clash.
