THE Basingstoke Bison moved back into the top three last weekend behind second placed Swindon and leaders Peterborough.

A superb four weekend moved the Bison to 44 points from 29 games, which is one behind Swindon from one more game, while Peterborough top the table with 46 points from 28 games.

The top two clash at the Link Centre on Saturday and then on Sunday Peterborough return to home ice when they entertain the Bison.

However, before that the Herd entertain Streatham on Saturday night (6.30pm).

They will not be taking this game for granted as they lost the last time they played the Redhawks.

Looking ahead to the weekend Bison player/coach Ashley Tait said: "I was very pleased with the way we played in our last two games. We will be at full strength for the weekend, but have to make sure we are ready to play on Saturday as we cannot afford to drop any points. It is a matter of taking each game one at a time."
