POPULAR midfielder Manny Williams is back at Basingstoke Town, after signing on dual registration from Slough Town.

He is one of two signings this week along with fellow midfielder James Granger, who has arrived from Eastleigh.

Town boss Martin Kuhl is also hopeful of adding at least one central defender before Saturday's game to bolster his squad as the Dragons look to climb out of the relegation zone.

Play-off hopefuls Harrow Borough, fifth in the table, are the visitors to the Camrose on Saturday and they snapped a three losing streak with a 3-3 draw at Poole, even if they were 3-1 down going into the final minute of the game.

Kuhl will be without captain Charlie Kennedy and striker Sam Argent, who will also miss Tuesday night’s trip to King’s Langley as he completes his suspension, while midfielder Harry Pearse could be back.

Looking ahead to the Harrow game, Kuhl said: “I have watched the last game we played at their place. We played well in the first half and they changed things up in the second half and beat us. They will come here and fancy their chances, but I fear no one in this league and are happy to go toe-to-toe with anyone.”

He added: “At the moment it is two boxes which is killing us - we are failing to take our chances and then conceding.”

Town's scheduled game on Tuesday night at Chesham was postponed due to the weather.
