ADVENTURE AS were at Court Farm Fishery on Sunday last, where Robin Guppy took the win with 86lb 4oz of carp on pole and meat, Steve Hunt caught 81lb 12oz of carp also on pole and meat, Gary Knight utilised pole and pellet for his 78lb 8oz and Scott (Meatloaf) Nelson caught 76lb 12oz to make up the frame.

Seventeen fished and caught.

Camrose AC went to Cheriton Farm for their latest event where match secretary Pip Seeny was a popular winner with 58lb 12oz of carp on pole and maggot. Tony Holdsworth used pole and corn for his 43lb 12oz of carp, Chris Barret put 28lb 10oz in the sack for third spot followed by Pat Finn with 27lb 4oz.

Fourteen fished and caught.

Oxoid AC fished a re-arranged match at Perils Lake Andover and they went there at their peril, Lee Punter caught one carp of 4lb on the maggot feeder and that as they say was that.

Kennet Osprey scheduled match was cancelled so a swindle on the ten peg canal at Dandys Ford was arranged. Matt Stainer won the match with 86lb 5oz of carp on pole ad pellet, Peter Wooldridge caught 37lb 7oz of carp on pole and maggot, yours truly fluked two carp on bomb and bread for 12lb 12oz just a pound in front of Steve Shepherd who did not moan, the rest of the field struggled but that’s winter fishing.

This Sunday sees Adventure AS at the club’s Willow Pool, Kennet Osprey are at Willow Park, Camrose go to Soke Road Lake, Oxoid AC are at Whitehouse Lake on 10th February whilst Staceys Match Group are at Cheriton Farm Lake this coming Sunday.
