PAUL Hogan set up a first round meeting with Dutchman Willem Mandigers this afternoon in the BDO World Professional Darts Championships, after as he breezed past Wez Newton in his opening match on Saturday evening at Lakeside.
The Basingstoke player was in great form winning the first set 3-0, Newton hit back taking the second one 3-2.
However, from then on Hogan was in the driving seat taking the next two sets 3-0 and 3-1 to win the match.
