BASINGSTOKE Town are looking to increase their fan base by tapping into the younger generation of football fans in the town, by offering them the chance to watch the Dragons for the rest of the season for £10.

At Town's next home game against Walton Casuals on Saturday December 22 the club are launching the Young Dragons in the clubhouse at the Camrose from 1pm.

This open to football fans both boys and girls under the age 12 and for a £10 membership they will receive a Junior Dragons season ticket, a free T-shirt and also a Dragons Eco friendly water bottle.

Registration is from 1pm to 2pm on December 22, followed by a presentation Making Our world a Safer Place.

Terry Brown the new chairman of the Basingstoke Town Community Football Club said: “We are a community club who want to give something back to the community and get the next generation both boys and girls to come and watch their local team. It is very important going forward with our move to Winklebury we have a very good fan base both young and old.”

The launch is being backed to the tune of £1,000 by Ade Cowler and accompanying adults with a Junior Dragon will pay only £8 to watch the games.

There is no better time to come and watch Town, who have won their last three games under new boss Martin Kuhl, including a 2-1 win over Walton.
