BASINGSTOKE Town will look to make it four wins out of four on Saturday, under new boss Martin Kuhl, when they travel to Swindon Supermarine.

Martin’s men built on his opening win at Hartley with home victories over Hendon and Walton Casuals in the past seven days.

Town will hope to start moving up the table after Tuesday night’s results saw them slip to 16th.

However, they are one point behind the four teams above them, with games in hand on the lot and Saturday’s opponents Supermarine are just above the drop zone.

Kuhl will wait on the fitness of several players before picking his team for his first away league game in charge.

Sam Deadfield and Rob Gerrard were both in the wars on Tuesday night and Shane Hollamby missed the game due to a knee injury.

New loanee Drew Matthews could not play in Tuesday's cup game, but is registered to play in the league and will be back in the squad and play either in midfield or centre back.

One player who has left the Camrose is Jack McKnight and joined National League side Eastleigh.

Kuhl said: “Losing Jack is a misfortune, but we are never going to stand in a player going to club in a higher division and we wish him well.

Looking back on his side’s last two wins and the weekend ahead, Kuhl said: “Against Hendon were good value for 2-0 and the referee has given them a lifeline with a penalty which never was. I was pleased the way the players responded, and we won the game 2-1.

“Against Walton we played a different shape, which took us time to get used against a good side, but in the end, we again have got the win.

“On Saturday, we want to keep winning, but we have a number of knocks and we will have to see who is fit before I pick a team.”
