SLOUGH saw their season in Middx, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier Two hit rock bottom when being on the receiving end of a 13-0 thrashing away to Trojans on Saturday, writes Dave Wright.
Dan Ferrier led the rout for the Southampton-based club with four goals, while there was two apiece for Richard Aves, James Butt and Dave McNee. Ben Cole, Colin French and Sinoxolo Mbekeni each added one goal.
It means Slough remain pointless from 10 games at the foot of the table.
The Upton Court Park men have a golden opportunity to give themselves a much-needed lift at home to Woking this Saturday.
Woking are immediately above them in the table, but they do have one point to their credit thanks to a goalless draw at home to Staines back in September.
If Slough, who lost several players after being promoted last season, are to end their disastrous run they will need to improve their goal tally which currently stands at just nine. They have conceded 54.
Woking's record from their 10 league fixtures is a marginally better 11 scored and 40 conceded.
This will be their last game before the month-long mid-season break.
