SIBONELO Makhanya who played Southern Premier League cricket for Basingstoke & North Hants this summer, has been selected by the Cape Town Blitz to play in the upcoming CSA Mzansi T20 Super League.
The 22-year-old all-rounder and former South Africa Under-19 captain, whom Basingstoke would dearly love to have back at May’s Bounty in 2019, is looking forward to playing alongside Proteas Dale Steyn, Quinton de Kock, and England left-hander Dawid Malan.
Cape Town Blitz hosts the Tshwane Spartans at Newlands for the opening match of the Mzansi Super League on November 16.
