THE Basingstoke Bison have a tough looking weekend coming up in South One, as they face a visit from Streatham, followed by a trip to the Peterborough Phantoms.

Fourth placed Streatham make their first visit to Basingstoke this season on Saturday (6.30pm) and are currently one place above the Herd in the standings.

Then on Sunday (5.30pm) the Bison travel to Peterborough, who they lost to 2-1 last month on home ice.

The Phantoms are second in the table, having yet to lose in regulation time.

Both games are expected to close hard fought affairs and Bison player/coach Ashley Tait said: "I think Streatham and ourselves will match up well so I am expected it to be another low scoring game.

"I think Peterborough are the best side we have seen so far and it is always tough to play there. However, we seem to play better in smaller rinks so we will see what happens."
