TOTALLY Tennis A men’s team retained their Basingstoke and District Tennis League Summer Division One title following wins against Andover 7-1 and Waverley 8-0.

They finished with seven victories and one defeat.

They were followed by Andover, Beechdown and Overton.

Andover finished with a 6-2 win at Waverley and 8-0 against Overton. Beechdown were held to a draw with Overton and a 5-3 loss to Winchester.

In a very closely fought Division Two the top three teams finished on the same number of points with Andover B taking the title from Odiham A by one game and Aldermaston A a further five games back.

Andover finished with a 5-3 win against Old Basing and a draw with RSF A.

Odiham A on 7-1 at Waverley B and Aldermaston 5-3 against Hook.

Old Basing B finished a point further back closely followed by Totally Tennis B.

Division Three was equally as close with Preston Candover taking the honours from Oakley A, courtesy of the fact that they won the match between the two clubs, when they both finished on the same number of points and sets won.

Preston Candover won their final match against Winchester B 7-1 to tie things at the top after Oakley had recorded the same score against Beechdown B.

RSF B, Goodworth Clatford B and Kingsclere B took the minor places.

In Division Four, Hampshire Court B and Odiham B have been battling it out all season.

Hampshire Court managed to secure the title after an 8-0 win in their final match against Beechdown C while Odiham won 5-3 over BDH.

The match between the top two teams finished in a draw, the only point Hampshire Court dropped all season.

Beechdown C and Oakley B finished third and fourth respectively.

Beechdown A took the Ladies Division One title, their first since 2013.

They secured the title with a 5-3 success against second placed Overton who were previously unbeaten over the season.

The Overton team drew with Goodworth Clatford.

Andover finished in third place on the same number of points as Overton.

Aldermaston remained unbeaten in taking the Division Two title with a draw against RSF and a 5-3 win over Winchester A.

Odiham A and RSF finished in second and third places respectively.

Division Three saw Goodworth Clatford B take the top spot with a 100 per cent record after winning all six of their matches.

Their last match saw them win 7-1 over second placed Preston Candover. Winchester B finished in third place on the same number of points as the runners up.

Overton A won the Mixed Division One title, their first in seven years, after remaining unbeaten for the season with five wins and two draws.

This included an 8-0 win against the winners for the last five years Andover who finished in the runners up position.

The Andover side recorded a good 6-2 win against Old Basing and a draw with Beechdown A.

The Beechdown team finished in third place with Goodworth Clatford a further point back.

Hampshire Court A comfortably won Division Two with eight victories from eight matches, dropping just the nine sets over the season.

They completed their season with 8-0 wins against Overton B and Oakley B.

Odiham A had good season finishing in second place and with an 8-0 win against Aldermaston A who finished in third spot on nine points.

RSF B and Overton B were tied on eight points.

Odiham B were another team to remain undefeated in taking the Division Three title.

They completed their fixtures with a 6-2 win over Beechdown C.

Hampshire Court B had a good season to finish in second place with seven wins and two losses.

They lost 6-2 to the champions but beat Beechdown C by the same score to complete their season.

Preston Candover were in third place finishing with wins over both Whitchurch A and B teams.

Beechdown C and Aldermaston B shared fourth spot with 10 points apiece.
