SILCHESTER Village march on after another impressive win, this week disposing of Overton United A with a 9-2 win on the Green.

Kye Theodore opened the scoring after three minutes from Jason Graham cross and then in eighth minute.

Joe Tallentire made it two three minutes later from a diving header and Graham put them 3-0.

It was an outstanding scissors kick from Luke Mclean that added another for Silchester.

Overton's Paul Smith pulled a goal back from the penalty spot and then in the 37th a free-kick from Smith was headed on by Harrison Edwards for Gavin Alexander to make it 4-2.

After the interval, Graham made it 5-2 and Theodore added two more to complete his hat-trick.

Peter White came on as substitute and scored the final two goals.

Hook are not to be outgunned by the current leaders and also won 9-2 against a Tadley Calleva A side fielding plenty of youngsters, but manager Bradley Nash was not despondent and said after this heavy defeat, they will improve.

Hook went 5-0 up, thanks to Dan Alliston, Dan Mauridian (2), Morgan Davies and Dan Mellors. Simon Yelland opened the Tadley account by half-time.

After the break, Mauridian completed his hat-trick, Lyndon Tyson scored a Tadley penalty. Mellors then completed his hat-trick and Mauridian added a fourth.

Herriard Sports are still suffering injury problems and the latest two are their main goal scorers Chris Dobbie and Sam Weber.

They travelled to AFC Aldermaston Reserves and returned defeated 3-1, but they did go down to 10 men when Stuart Minton was injured.

Lucas De Silver, Kalam Patrick and Matt Wilkins all beat Herriard goalkeeper Brian Boyle, who last played for the club five years ago.

Richard Ellis scored the lone reply.

Twentyten had a late 4-3 win against AFC Berg and with four minutes left to play they were trailing 3-2, but Tom Hanks and Ryan Lupton made sure of the wins. Their earlier goals came from Joe Osborne and Hanks.

AFC Berg scorers were Kieran Alleyne, Darren Rowe and Louis Vickery.
