BASINGSTOKE Town start their FA Cup quest away at Southern League Division One outfit Paulton Rovers in the first qualifying round on Saturday.
Town boss Jason Bristow is expected to have a full squad to pick from as injured pair Sam Argent and Dan Bayliss should be back.
After his side’s good start to the league campaign Bristow will be hoping they convert this into a cup run which would be a fitting end to their time at the Camrose.
Looking ahead to Saturday, the Dragons’ boss said: “They have a good pitch so we will be able to play our own brand of football. Like every club at this level we would love a run in the FA Cup, so we know it is going to be a tough game.”
Last Saturday, Town had an excellent 0-0 draw in the league at high flying Taunton Town and Bristow said: “I felt this was our most complete performance of the season so far. We kept a clean sheet and looked solid at the back as well as created chances.”
