KENNET Osprey went to Gold Valley Gold Lake on Sunday last and Geoff Miles won it with 94lb 4oz of carp on the pellet waggler, Graham Shadwell utilised bomb and pellet for his 66lb 15oz of carp, Dwayne Seed did the same for his 64lb 1oz with Mark (Red) Funnel making up the frame on 56lb 13oz. Eighteen fished and caught.

Adventure AS fished an improving Dandys Ford where Simon (The God) Kiefer topped out on 95lb 4oz of carp on pole and meat, match secretary Nick Sargent used the same method for his 56lb 8oz, Robin Guppy caught his 55lb 10oz of carp on pole and pellet with Mark Blackmon next with 49lb 8oz on pole and meat. Seventeen fished and caught.

Basingstoke Railway Club fished their latest fixture at Cheriton Farm Lake and John Hooley returned to winning ways hauling 158lb 10oz of carp on pole and maggot, Trevor Matthews drew well and fished well for his 117lb of carp again on pole and maggot, I managed third spot with 103lb 12oz from the margin and Alan Wells caught 84lb 8oz on paste. Thirteen fished all caught.

Tony Holdsworth won the Camrose AC match fished at Whitehouse Lake on Sunday last, 91lb of carp caught on pole and pellet was his bag. Eleven year old Miles Andrews put 62lb 12oz of bream in his net caught on pole and worm, Brian Orchard’s 60lb 4oz of mixed was a pole and pellet affair, whilst Jason (The Paste) Marcham weighed in 39lb. Twelve fished and caught.

Is there a star in the making with eleven year old Miles Andrews? His last two match weights have been a winning 120lb and a second placed 62lb 12oz.
