HOOK AND Newnham Basics IV have a winner takes all title clash in the Hampshire League Regional Division One North East, as they travel to Holybourne.

Hook kept themselves top of the pile going into the final weekend of games thanks to a five wicket success at home to Crown Taverners who scored 152-9.

Old Basing III occupy the third and a final promotion spot after winning at St Cross V by 28 runs after bowling them out for 179.

Kingsclere are right on their heels in fourth and scored 215 last weekend, as Steve Hanney helped himself to 64.

They then bowled out Petersfield for 109 as Mitesh Patel, Jack Grove-White and Ed Browning all took two wickets each.

Old Basing finish with a home game against Oakley II at Bramley, while Kingsclere are at St Mary's.

In Division Two North East, Odiham and Greywell III are just outside the promotion places in fourth and will hope they can beat Colden Common and either Oakmount or Bishop's Waltham III slip up to let them into the top three after the final games of the season.
