LANCE Kinder has added to a glorious history of success in the World of Squash winning the Over 80’s category at the Prestigious British Open

recently held at the Collets club Surrey.

The tournament had competitors from as far afield as America.

Kinder was the most experienced player in the tournament and came through three matches and defeated fellow Brit Malcolm Gillham 3-1 in a competitive final.

Since taking up the game Kinder has been Squash World Champion in singles, doubles and team categories and has won the British National tiles 8 times!

The 82-year-old has represented English Squash 72 times in the home international and has only lost one!

He has enjoyed being the captain of England on 58 occasions.

It takes a lot of commitment to be the best at anything and Kinder keeps himself in great shape by exercising at Beechdown Health Club 3 day per week and playing squash matches at least twice a week.

Kinder is motivated purely by enjoying playing and has now qualified to compete at the Squash World Championship in Charlottesville, USA in late July.

Based on his commitment and dedication to training we have every confidence that he will enjoy a successful World Championship.
