BEN Wright scored five minutes from time as Basingstoke Town picked up a point at a snowy Banbury United.
The visitors made one change to the side which won at Biggleswade, with Michael Atkinson coming in for Sam Smart and there was also a welcome return to the subs bench for Dan Collier from injury.
The home side opened the scoring after eight minutes, as Tom Winters' stinging free-kick from 20 yards out, meant Colm McAdden could only beat the ball away and Luke Carnell netted the rebound.
The home side then had further chances from Jack Self and Ricky Johnson, but McAdden was equal to both of them.
Town came closest from Sam Argent, as the half finished 1-0 to Banbury.
After the break, the visitors came more into the game and Argent fired just wide early on and George Bennett went close from distance.
Town got their deserved equaliser from Wright thanks to a nice volley.
Next up for the Dragons is a home game against Bishop's Stortford on Saturday at the Camrose.
