THIS weekend Loddon Vale based at the Leisure Park, will host the top bowlers from around the country in their Open Singles competition.
Matches start at 9am on Saturday, continuing throughout the day until 6pm.
Then on Sunday play starts again at 9am with the final being played at 5pm and the winner will be presented with a cheque for £1,000. Spectators are welcome both days and there is no admission charge.
Loddon Vale beat Tongham 138-95 in a friendly game with their top rink being Maryann Chadwick, Alan Morgan, Frank Fuller and skipped by Adrian Bush.
In the club competitions, Ashley Nethercliffe beat Heather Statham 21-10 in the Open Singles.
Through to the quarter finals of the Mixed Pairs are Mo and Sue Saunders along with Camilla Kingshott and Terry Heath.
In the Aussie Pairs Tom and Stella Regan-Atkins moved into the next round.
