BRAMLEY United travelled away to Tidworth Town in the North Hants Senior Cup last Sunday.

Although Bramley took a strong side to the game, and faced basically the same side they had beaten 4-1 earlier in the season.

Tidworth were masters of their 3G home pitch and were 4-0 up at the interval.

Bramley struggled with the surface and had used all their subs when injury reduced them to 10 men with 20 minutes left to play. Tidworth Town went on to win 10-0.

Basingstoke Saints had home advantage in their North Hants Chris Price Cup tie, but the pitch was virtually unplayable.

Visitors Hedge End Tigers coped better with the farcical conditions, with the ball holding up in the mud down the centre of the pitch or would skim off the slick surface where it was firmer.

It was hard for players to keep their feet in the mud and try to play good football and the visitors won 2-0. Kempshott took an early lead over Camrose Social through Jamie Hope.

Camrose soon equalised, but the referee gave a penalty to Kempshott with the last kick of the first half, which was also netted by Hope, giving them a 2-1 lead at the break.

However, Camrose scored four in the second half to win the game 5-2.

Camrose's scorers were Ben Hobday, Ian Jones, Chris Waller, Mathew Foreman and Craig Atkinson.

In the Basingstoke and District Sunday League Division Two Chineham Athletic lost 5-0 to Chineham Reserves, with braces from Clayton Deakin and David Williamson and a single for Gavin Harkness.

Leaders UWS were away at Shallow End, where the visitors gained a lead after 15 minutes, when Jake Gorman set up Chris Bayly to score.

At the half-hour mark a Craig Short pass found Gorman who scored with one touch, to make it 2-0 at half-time.

After the restart, Shallow End scored two quick goals in the opening 20 minutes, to level things.

Mikey Davies headed towards the net from a corner for UWS, but it was deflected from between the posts by a hand from an outfield player. The player was dismissed and the visitors awarded a penalty, which was missed.

To spare the penalty taker's blushes, James Tarrant made it 3-2 and on 76 minutes Gorman took a corner which was deflected into the path of Bayly to complete the 4-2 win.
