CHRISTIAN Quinn hammered in a double hat-trick, as the Basingstoke under-13 Bison moved to the top of South Two after a 13-1 victory at Slough.
It was the home side who opened the scoring after 65 seconds, but the young Herd hit back to level things as Oliver Hemming-Maher netted his first of four and Quinn the second and by the first buzzer both forwards had complete hat-tricks as the Bison led 6-0.
Jeremy Davis and Roman Cathcart added goals seven and eight before the second period break.
Quinn netted his fourth to open the final session scoring and then Cathcart and Hemming-Maher took the score to 11-0.
Quinn with a pair for shorthanded goals in the space of 41 seconds completed the 13 goal haul.
