The May Mid-Week Stableford at the Hartley Wintney Golf Club saw 42 players take to the fairways.

Finding some form and finishing in first place was Bruce Rattray with 39 points.

There were three players fighting it out for second place all scoring 38 points, and after countback it was Nick Wilmot who secured the runners-up spot with Peter Curtis taking third place.

Conditions were challenging for the Seniors May Stableford after a deluge of rain.

However, Bob Henry put together a nice round of 35 points to take first place.

In second place a further point behind was Adrian Bunting scoring 34 points.

In addition to the course playing a little longer, the competitors in the May Monthly Medal had to contend with a brisk south-easterly wind.

This had quite an effect on the scoring with nobody beating the par of 71.

Three players matched the par with their net score and it was Division Three winner Richard Worrall who was the overall winner taking first place.

In second place was Division one winner Dave Bartlett whose 73 was also the lowest gross score of the day.

The last of the nett 71s also came from Division One and it was Tom Winder who finished in third place.

Only one two was recorded and that was by Roly Newman at the 17th.

The Pro Shop Stableford saw 30 players take part. Tony Harrison took the honours scoring 37 points for first place from the in form Tom Winder who finished in second place with 35 points.
