BASINGSTOKE Town Ladies completed their Premier League away campaign with a 2-2 draw at Brislington.

The visitors took the lead after 25 minutes as Michelle Kimber turned past a player on the half way time and put a through ball down the left to Helen Ogle who squared the ball for Katie Randell to tap the ball in.

Four minutes later, the home side levelled and then just before the break Town goalkeeper Erin Davis-Donne produced a great save to keep it level at the interval.

On the hour, Basingstoke's Jasmine Meichle gave away a penalty with a foul which Brislington converted.

Ogle made sure of a share of the points for Town as she scored with a one-on-one.

After this the visitors had a number of chances to win the game from Randell and Ogle.

Town manager Rob Quilter said: "It was a very physical game with a lot of hard tackles. The girl's battled really well, defended bravely and created many goal scoring opportunities.

"I felt the penalty they got was extremely harsh but the girl's picked themselves up and got themselves back in the game and could have won it."

The Ladies wrapped up their first campaign in the Premier League with a visit from Plymouth Argyle on Sunday (2pm).
