OLIVER Hemming-Maher netted a hat-trick as the Basingstoke under-11 Bison completed a quick double over Milton Keynes beating them 8-4 on home ice after 7-4 success away.
A high scoring first period saw the young Herd lead 5-3 as Roman Cathcart, Harry Tempest, Felix Hemming-Maher, Finlay Thoms and Freddie Stephens assisted by Finn Ronan.
Hemming-Maher then hit a straight hat-trick to make sure of the victory.
In the first game, the Bison edged the opening session 2-1, as Thoms and Tempest assisted by Ronan scored.
MK then lead 4-3 at the second break, as Oliver Hemming-Maher netted their only goal.
The final period saw the young Herd take control, as Hemming-Maher grabbed his second and then further strikes from Brandon West and a Cathcart brace, made sure of the win.
