BASINGSTOKE RFC suffered a double whammy defeat as they lost to visiting Hampshire rivals Trojans 29-5.
This was because the game counted towards the league as well as being the semi-final of the Hampshire Bowl.
When Stoke played the reverse fixture earlier in the season they only managed six points and at Down Grange they found points just as hard to come by.
The defeat also saw the home side miss out on the chance to go third in the London Three South West, after Old Cranleighans also lost.
Next for Stoke is a league trip to Teddington next weekend.
