HENRY Emery led the way with a hat-trick, as the Basingstoke under-13 Bison recorded their biggest win of the season a 13-4 success at Cardiff.
The visitors took just 94 seconds to take the lead, as Cain Russell netted.
Oliver Hemming-Maher and Roman Cathcart extended the lead to 3-0.
Hemming-Maher with his second, assisted by Joshua Hibbs completed the first period scoring.
The second session saw three more unanswered goals with Emery scoring the first from Patrick Wilson and then netted again. Russell with his second made 7-0 at the buzzer.
The final period saw 10 goals with the Herd scoring six of the them, from Harry Brooks, Jeremy Davis, Hudson Finlay, Christian Quinn, Emery's hat-trick strike and Brooks assisted by Harry Stoneman.
In their next game the Bison lost 6-4 at home to Bracknell. The goals came from Hemming-Maher (2), Hibbs and Russell, while James Bryan picked up the only assist.
