WE CONTINUE to play some really good hockey in 2017 with two excellent wins last weekend.

We followed up our Saturday's 6-1 home success over Peterborough with a 5-2 win in Bracknell, which completed a 3-0 series win in their building in the league this season.

Scoring 11 goals over the weekend was great to see as was the fact that four of them came on the powerplay.

We had struggled before Christmas to get the PP working and it was nice to see we have creating plenty of chances as well as scoring now.

Of course hockey is a team game, but Rene Jarolin stood out last weekend with an incredible nine points and scored four times in the Peterborough win.

We have played a solid defensive game all season and offensively we are now looking pretty dangerous.

We still have Joe Miller to come back into the line-up and Joe Rand will only get better after a long time out.

The signs look very good as we head down the stretch to the play-offs.

It was also nice to be able to give Dan Weller-Evans some ice time in Bracknell.

He has a tough job on the team being the back-up netminder and trains hard every night.

It was nice to see him gets some game minutes and post a shut-out.

He will get some more minutes for sure as we head to the end of season.

Saturday night will see Sheffield in town and we want to keep our winning run going at home, backed by our superb supporters.

So why not come along and enjoy a great Saturday night out.
