Overton started brightly, as they have done all season, with monster hand-offs from Captain Tristian Harper and JJ Inglis setting the scene for what was going to be a brutal encounter.

The first score came after five minutes as Alex Plows went over and added the first of eight conversion on the day.

This was shortly followed by a score for Ryan Cornell as he covered as superb break Tom Gough and Damien Churchill.

Fawley then forced Overton onto the back foot, but the home side regrouped and a chip and chase Alex Plows followed by a good rip in the tackle saw JJ Inglis go in for his first try, closely followed by a second as Overton led 26-0 at half-time.

Fawley started the second period strongly and Overton defended well, before a real opportunist try for scrum half Dan Summpter.

The home side added further tries from Ryan Cornell and JJ Inglis as they finished with four each.

Adam Kentell was unlucky not to get on the score sheet as an offload was forward.
