HARTLEY Wintney were unable to stop league leaders Trojans maintaining their 100 per cent home record, as they lost by nine wickets at Eastleigh.
Dan Babridge hit an unbeaten 100 for the home side, which included 18 fours and four sixes and he reached his century off the final ball of the match.
He shared an unbroken second wicket partnership worth 143 with James Truscott (47).
Edward Boyd (26) was the only Trojans’ man out caught by Louis Lynch off the bowling of Seb Waddington.
For Hartley, they made a steady start, but then lost Tom Garwood and skipper Daniel Plume in the space of three runs as they slumped to 47-3.
Scott Baldwin (27) and Jack Hersh (33) got them back on track with a fourth wicket stand just one run shy of 50.
The home side got amongst the wickets as the visitors found themselves 139-8.
Some excellent tail end batting from top scorer Lynch (36) and James Beckwith (24), who hit the only six of the innings, saw the village side finish all out on 191.
However, it proved not enough thanks to Babridge’s century.
Next up for Hartley is a home game against lowly Paultons.
