FOUR straight wins have seen Hook and Newnham Basics have moved into the Southern League Division One title race.
With the top two leaders Andover and Sarisbury Athletic locking horns, victory for Hook this Saturday would see them move them up to second place.
On paper, this looks very likely, as in-form Hook face a visit from bottom side OTs and Romsey, who have won just once this season.
When the sides met earlier in the campaign in Romsey, the home side were bowled out for 93, thanks to spin kings Kevin Poulter, Anik Devicha and Rhodes Franklin, as they tried to chase down the visitor’s 225.
Hook skipper Matt Love and wicketkeeper Josh Buckingham are both back in the squad for the visit of OTs.
