ROSS Andrews (64 and 6-13) produced a great all round performance, as Kingsclere beat Michelmersh by 90 runs in Regional Division One North.

Andrews and Norman Howe put on 64 for the first wicket and then Mark Hirst (48) and Chris Hanney (29 not out) took the score to 186-5.

The home side were under pressure from the start, as Harry Murtagh (2-18) took early wickets and then Andrews and Hanney (2-17) finished the job off as they were all out for 95.

John Huntingdon (86) and Angus Stronach (5-27) was in vain as Old Basing II lost by four wickets to Stockbridge. Rotherwick ITW were beaten by 15 runs by visiting Rowledge III.

Reiss Deere (5-29) and Chris Turner (50 not out) helped Odiham II (115-7) to a three wicket success over Hook IV (114) in Regional Division Two North.

Veeru Pokola (62) top scored for St Mary’s (140) as they lost by one wicket to Overton II. Old Basing III (105) beat Upper Clatford (45), Herriard (155) lost by 51 runs at Langley Manor II, while Silchester (137) went down by two wickets against Compton.

Hungerford were bowled out for 161 thanks to Lewis Maton (4-29) and Ram Patel (3-20), but AWE Tadley only made126 in Regional Division Three North. Basingstoke V (88-2) beat Herriard II (85) and Overton II (163) lost by six wickets at Holybourne II, despite Adam Soane’s 44. Ramsdell II (59-7) beat Sparsholt III (58) thanks to Mark Andrews (4-8).

Vinny Gardner (107) and Harry Robson (74) scored 196 off 29 overs, as Hook V scored 281-5 and then Oliver Beresford Davies took 3-5 in 21 balls, as St Cross VI were bowled out for 48 in Regional Division Four North East. Max Morris (75) helped Odiham III (143-5) beat Liphook (142) as Bruce Applin (4-19) and Lara Barlett (3-35) did well with the ball.
