TADLEY Calleva extended their winning streak to five games with a 4-0 victory over visiting Christchurch in the Wessex League Division One as they moved up to fifth.
The home side were quickly out of the blocks as Grant Powell opened the scoring, only for them to give away a penalty which goalkeeper Tom Hindmarsh saved.
After this, Tadley dominated the first 45 minutes as James Tennant added a second with a free-kick into the top corner and then Powell scored his second with a lovely free-kick over the wall.
Nick Kingston with his first goal for the club added a fourth and this gave manager Danny Dolan the opportunity in the last 15 minutes to bring on teenagers Daniel Charsley and Connor Thorne for his first team debut.
A delighted manager Danny Dolan said: "Things are going really well at the moment, as we have only conceded once in five games.
"It was great to be able to put two 17-year-olds on the pitch at the end and the future looks bright for the club."
This Saturday, Tadley will make history as travel to Littlehampton for their first ever FA Vase first round tie.
The Sussex League Division One side are also in fine form with five straight wins, so it should be a great game.
