Defeat for Basingstoke RFC Dragons
THE Basingstoke RFC Dragons lost 29-0 to visiting Gosport and Fareham Vikings, despite dominating territory and possession.
Gosport opened the scoring the first time they got their hands on the ball, a pattern that was to be repeated throughout the first half, with the visitors leading 17-0 at the break.
The second half was more even, but Basingstoke were unable to get on the scoresheet.
