BASINGSTOKE Town Ladies will face Fulham FC Foundation in the third qualifying round of The FA Women’s Cup after winning 4-0 away at Downend Flyers on Sunday.

Lindsey Beverley made the most of a defensive error to give Town the lead and the visitors doubled their lead shortly after half-time, Lianne Hill converting Katie Randell’s cross.

Randell got the third goal before Beverley rounded off the win, firing home from close range.

Monday’s draw saw Basingstoke drawn at home to Fulham’s ladies team, a game that will take place on October 11. Before that, they travel to Woodley United in the Southern League Premier Division on Sunday.

Shannon King netted twice after Charlotte May had opened the scoring direct from a corner to give the reserves a 3-0 win away at Rushmoor Community FC.
