ODIHAM Bowling Club will be hoping to make it a lock-out in the Stan Hardman Bowls League final today as their D and X teams battle it out in the semi-finals.
Odiham X will take on AWRE, while Odiham D face Hook Sapphires for a place in next week’s final.
Last week’s quarter-finals saw AWRE beat Whitchurch 60-36, Hook beat Fleet Cygnets 63-38, Odiham D overcome Kingsclere 52-44 and Odiham X beat Cove 51-41.
Last week’s Whitchurch League programme suffered due to bad weather, leaving many promotion and relegation issues undecided.
Basingstoke Town Spades head Division One by a one-and-a-half points and also have a game in hand over Oakley A.
Spades beat the weather and Hyde Abbey A, winning 50-23, while Oakley won 27-20 against Kingsclere Quails in a game that lasted 10 ends.
The only other match saw struggling Howard Park A beat Andover B 49-47.
In Division Two, Whitchurch Blacks lost 18-12 to third-placed Alton 18-12.
Leaders Old Basing Cavaliers sent Oakley B down with a 22-15 win.
Hyde Abbey B lost to Kingsclere Partridges 33-22 in Division Three, but held on to top slot.
Littleton Lemurs are equal on points after beating Town Jokers 51-44. Third-placed Andover C lost 37-32 to Howard Park C and will miss out on promotion.
Howard Park must wait to see if Oakley C can get four points from their last game to confirm who will be relegated.
Marnell Greens beat St Mary Bourne Merlins 30-16 in Division Four, but it should not be enough to prevent Whitchurch Blues from being promoted.
The only Basingstoke District Bowling Association result saw Howard Park beat Oakley 72-51.
