ODIHAM and Greywell continue to sit atop Hampshire Cricket League Regional Division One North after a comfortable 103-run win over Old Basing II.

Fourteen-year-old Alex Brown hit an unbeaten 56, while Christo Arundel made 55 and John Hodgson 46 as visiting Odiham posted 255-6. Keith Timms hit 56 in the Basing response, but Becky Hartnett took 4-20 and Ross McGaughrin 3-23 as they were bowled out for 152.

Garfield Coombs smashed his way to an unbeaten 117, putting on 209 with Mark Richards (77 not out), as Basingstoke and North Hants III reached 223-1 at Herriard, before bowling the hosts out for 170 to win by 53 runs.

Sherfield-on-Loddon's Steve Dummer and Simon Grant also shared a big partnership, with Dummer making 150 and Grant 126 as they put on 227 together, helping Sherfield to reach 351-4. Grant went on to take 3-61 as hosts Donnington were restricted to 214-7 in reply.

Ramsdell won by seven wickets at Chawton, chasing down 178-7 thanks to unbeaten knocks of 78 and 69 from Dave Simpson and Jonny Bradley.

Stephen Hanney made 87 as Kingsclere reached 259-9 at home to Littleton and West Hill II. They then bowled the visitors out for just 87 to win by 172 runs.

Grant Good put in a fine display as Ashford Hill beat hosts Holybourne by two wickets. He and Mark Williamson both took three wickets as the hosts were restricted to 182-9 before hitting 58 in Ashford Hill's winning reply.

Paul Buckingham's century was in vain as Rotherwick ITW lost by 43 runs at home to OTs and Romsey IV in Division Two North. Chris Bradshaw took 3-70, but OTs reached 274-8 and while opener Buckingham made an unbeaten 103, Rotherwick could only amass 231-5.

Odiham and Greywell II suffered a heavy defeat at home to Michelmersh and Timsbury II. Chris Turner took 3-41, but the visitors reached 248-6 and while Liam Schooling made 57, Odiham were bowled out for 142.

High-flying Old Basing III lost by eight wickets at home to Rowledge III, failing to defend 154-9, while Silchester were dismissed for 130 chasing 222-7 at home to Otterbourne.

AWE Tadley II came out on top at the end of a closely-fought game away at Basingstoke and North Hants III in Division Three North East.

Cal Saint made 95 and Neil Merricks 54 as AWE reached 209-8, with Ian Hill taking 4-46. Basingstoke's reply was led by Nick Firrell (52), but Nick Hynard and Sunil Mistry both took three wickets as they were bowled out for 195.

St Mary's are third in the table after winning by 83 runs away at Bishop's Waltham. Veeru Pokola made 86 as the visitors reached 209-7, while Nathan Field took 5-20 as Bishop's Waltham were restricted to 126-9.

Odiham and Greywell III's problems continued as they lost by seven wickets at Fair Oak IV, failing to defend 220, though Tony Woodward hit 69 and Andy Stenning 56.

Aiden Parker and Graham Jackson both took three wickets as Hartley Wintney III bowled visiting St Cross Symondians VI out for 143, going on to win by five wickets.

Sam Wakelen hit 86 as Overton III were bowled out for 169 by visiting Holybourne II, who went on to win by five wickets.

Overton II sit fourth in Division Three North West after bowling visiting Hursley Park out for 62 and winning by eight wickets.

Ramsdell II remain top of Division Four North after beating visiting Aldershot V by 47 runs, successfully defending 200-5.

Kevin Ralph took five wickets as struggling Whitchurch II bowled visiting Crown Taverners II out for 145, going on to win by five wickets.

Herriard II were thumped by hosts Hungerford II. Tom Moore took 3-55 as the hosts made 292-6 before dismissing Herriard for just 89.
